Having so many jobs (art studio, bookshop, photography, mom, and more!) it takes me a while to build up stock. And there's a little something called the holidays coming up (in 2 1/2 months) so I have to prepare now. I'm trying to draw as much as possible now so that I can hopefully get them done by early November. It feels like the holidays get here earlier every year.
I finished the the drawing portion on 22 mini canvases and I'm pretty excited to move onto the painting stage.
Earlier in the day my daughter joined me while I painted a few of the baby canvases I started yesterday. It's good to have company and she often consults on color choice… although if she had her way, the paintings would all be pink and orange.
